Send a Cow are a nonprofit organisation, who offer training and support to farmers in Africa, so far helping over 16,000 people out of poverty. As a nonprofit, they were able to benefit from product and license donations from the Salesforce foundation. With offices in Africa, it was vital that their CRM solution was based in the cloud, but could also be accessed offline when a stable internet connection wasn’t available. Send a Cow are using the Sales Cloud to track their community members, as well as customising the system to perform processes such as monitoring their own visits, trace any livestock donated and record resulting pregnancies.
